Do you need to learn about Dogs? If so you've come to the right place!

Just Remember: Please consider getting your dog at the Animal Shelter to reduce the number of abandoned or mistreated dogs!

Dogs make great pets for those who can take a lot or a little time out of their schedule to feed, walk, groom, bring the dog to the vet, and play with the dog.  Smaller dogs make great pets for those who are older, can't give them a lot of exercise, or travel on the plane a lot for a long time when they prefer not to put the pet in a kennel while they are gone, While BIGGER dogs are better for those who have lots of time to exercise their pet, have more money to spend toward medicinal bills (because you'll need to spend it!), and  if you own an older dog be ready to give it up sooner than if it were a smaller dog.

If your dog bites:

We recommend to load a spray bottle with a little bit of vinegar, and some water. Then when your dog tries to bite, spray some vinegar-water at it's mouth. After a while of doing this your dog should stop biting.

If your dog pulls at it's lead on a walk:

We recommend a metal prong/choke collar or a muzzle.

If your dog jumps up:

When your dog jumps up, turn away and ignore your dog. If you keep doing this, it will learn not to jump up.

Doggie Downsides

Dogs require a lot of work, time, and care. They also need a lot of exercise- as much or more than you do.
