Do you want to learn about cats..You have come to the right place!
Cats are more than just bundles of fluff that eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom. They are awesome!

Play
Most cats love to play with bells, feathers, strings, and toys with catnip (a cat drug) in them.
Do no try to get your cat to play when it is hiding, because it may be hiding for a reason.
Ping-pong balls, empty wooden thread spools, unshelled walnuts, balled-up waxed paper, cardboard toilet paper tubes, and shoe boxes filled with some tissue paper make great cat toys!!
"Toys" to Stay Away From
Balls of string or yarn, spools of thread, rubber bands, balls of aluminum, corks, and wire twist ties
Purr-fect fun fact: If your cat doesn't purr a lot, it's OK. They do not always purr when happy. Also cats purr when they are healing or about to give birth.
Training
A lot of cats mostly know how to go in their litter box, and that is big, but by using dog training techniques, you might be able to train your cat to be a smart cat!
How to Hold Your Cat
The best way to hold your cat (or kitten) carefully. If you want to carry it the best way to hold it is to slide one hand, open wide, under its stomach with the other under its rear-end. For bigger breeds, in order to show your authority take it by the scruff of its neck just like its mother would do to carry it, it will not harm the cat.
Here's a fact: If your cat prefers water from the toilet, or from a puddle, gutter or pond, it's because the water in her dish tastes bad. Provide plenty of clean fresh water daily, this is critical to a cat's health.
What to Avoid When Holding a Cat
Pulling its tail, taking it by the head, and sliding both hands under its front feet are ways you should try not to pick your cat up by.
Here's a fact: Exposing your cat to many people is an important part of socialization and seems to lessen their fear of strangers. Cats should also be carefully introduce to children. A cat who is not socialized with children may reject or even bite them after it has matured.
Supplies you will need if you're getting a kitten:
A carrier - for transportation, food and water bowls - some cats are allergic to plastic so twin stainless steel bowls in a holder are better, litter box materials - litter box, cat litter, and a scoop.
Did you know? That cats don't use a scratching post to sharpen their claws. They scratch to satisfy the instinct to stretch and clean their claws, in addition to marking their territory.
Feeding Don'ts: Never feed dog food to your cat- cat's have unique nutritional needs that dog food does not provide, Never feed bones from chicken, pork, or fish to your cat, DON'T feed your cat milk, it will cause diarrhea. Never feed your cat chocolate or onions because it may be toxic to your cat.
